Corporate social responsibility

We find it of great importance to have respect for our planet and for the people. We try to work as sustainable as possible. Even though we aren’t perfect, we are doing our very best to be and do better. We are critical towards our processes, supply chain and the materials we work with. We source all clothing with integrity, to uphold the highest quality of our products and to honour our ethical standing with a genuine respect for social responsibility, sustainability and the environment. We would love to share our journey towards a more sustainable future with you.

Animal welfare

We ensure that all animal derived hair is obtained from sources who maintain the highest possible standards of animal welfare. We always use non-mulesed sheep wool. Our yarns hold the certifications that address the welfare of animals and the land they graze on. The certifications ensure that the wool, mohair and alpaca comes from farms that have a progressive approach to managing their land and practice holistic respect for animal welfare of the sheep (RWS), goats (RMS and) and alpaca’s (RAS). Instead of using leather for our collection, we use a faux leather fabric (60% polyurethane and 40% viscose).

Slow fashion

We capture a mix of contemporary and timeless styles to be able to offer your ‘wear now, wear later and have forever pieces’. While designing our collections, we don’t focus on following trends, but on items that you would love to wear through different seasons and years. Each piece is designed to last.

We know our essentials. Our faux leather Amber pants. Our 100% cotton Lies blouse. Our alpaca Begonia pullover. Just to name a few that we and you love. Each season we re-introduce these essentials in new colors and fabrics. Items which fit with the previous one. We want to help you build a sustainable
wardrobe.

Production

We want to keep the impact on people and nature as low as possible. Our clothing should be produced ethically and sustainable.

• In the production of our threads and yarns, in the textile fabrics and textile finishing, we aim to reduce the use of chemical substances and/or to dispense with them altogether. We work with leading manufacturers in the area of pure wool yarns and blends. We use the purest natural fibres of fabrics like; Merino Wool, Linen, Viscose, Tencel and Cotton.

• Our yarns are tested for harmful substances to ensure high product safety, assured by the OEKO-TEX label. All chemicals used must meet strict toxicity standards.

• All factories we work with are situated in Portugal, Lithuania and China and are in line with BCI, WRAP or SEDEX Social Responsible Entrepreneurship Standard.

• We work with a supply chain that takes good care of working conditions, has respect for all workers and promotes responsible environmental practices.
